Fusion Academy Overview

Does your player love the game of soccer? Are they ready for the next level? Then the HYSA Fusion Academy program awaits.

The HYSA Fusion Academy program is a developmental program designed for soccer players in the U8, U9 and U10 age groups that bridges the gap between recreational and select soccer.  The program is built around creating an environment for each player to develop both technically and tactically.

This program follows recommendations and guidelines from US Youth Soccer and the United States Soccer Federation for small-sided games.

Program Goals

• Emphasis on player development first, without the pressure of short-term wins or losses
• Focus on individual technique and tactical awareness
• Maximize ball touches leading to quick decision making for real game development
• Develop technically versatile and intelligent players
• Create a fun and dynamic atmosphere

General Information

• Training occurs twice a week with a professional trainer
• Trainer and/or a parent coach, coach all games
• Games are scheduled in a festival style with multiple games played at each festival
• Teams can play in additional tournaments at the beginning or end of the seasons
